Rail Signaling and Control System Specialist - Colombia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is requiring a Signaling and Control System Specialist for an International Consultancy working on behalf of the end client for a new metro project in Colombia.

Opportunity:

My client is a leading International consultancy firm who are directly involved in implementation, supervision, and commissioning of automated systems for the railway operational control centers. The main objective will be to verify the detailed design and supervise the on-site installation phases of the control systems.

Responsibilities:

The main challenge of the role is to ensure the effective and safe integration of supervision systems within a complex metro project, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, time management, and multidisciplinary team coordination. Additionally, the commissioning of GoA4-level automated railway systems represents a high-level technical challenge, requiring meticulous planning, risk management, and resource optimization.

Key requirements for the role:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject.
8+ years experience on similar projects
2 previous OCC projects including GoA4 Technology
Regional Experience would be beneficial
Spanish language skills would be essential.

Language:

Fluency in Spanish

Package:

The salary package consists of €10,000 to €12,000 plus allowances.
