We are currently supporting a leading consultancy in the energy sector to recruit a Project Manager with strong expertise in the economic and financial evaluation of electricity infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and internationally minded professional to contribute to complex projects spanning generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will support the execution of technical assistance missions and act as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external partners. The position offers both strategic and hands-on involvement across economic modelling, financial analysis, and infrastructure advisory, working on donor-funded projects across a global portfolio.
You will also contribute to business development activities related to energy infrastructure and support both short-term missions and longer-term projects in France and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver technical assistance related to energy infrastructure economics and finance
- Manage and contribute to studies on electricity generation, transmission, and distribution
- Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders on project execution
- Support proposal writing, project coordination, and technical reporting
- Represent the company in short-term field missions (France and international)
Candidate Profile
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
- Between 2-5 years of professional experience in the power sector
- Proven experience in economic and financial studies for electricity infrastructure
- Familiarity with donor-funded project environments (EU, World Bank, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English; Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of international project work
