Protection & Control / SCADA E&C Engineer (Electrical, 10+ Years' Experience)

Location: Saudi Arabia
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Extendable)
Project Type: HV Substation - Protection, Control & SCADA Systems

Role Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Protection & Control / SCADA Engineer for the erection, configuration, and commissioning of protection relays, automation systems, and SCADA interfaces within high-voltage substations.

Key Responsibilities:

Commission protection relays (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.) and control systems in HV substations.
Configure IEDs, communication protocols (IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3), and SCADA integration.
Perform secondary injection testing and end-to-end system testing.
Coordinate with system operators for pre-energization and energization stages.
Generate commissioning procedures, test reports, and final documentation for client handover.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Protection & Control commissioning.
Strong knowledge of relay testing tools (OMICRON, Megger, Doble, etc.).
Experience with major SCADA/RTU platforms.
Familiarity with IEC 61850-based systems and fiber optic communication.
