GIS/AIS Erection & Commissioning Engineer (Electrical, 10+ Years' Experience, OEM Certified)

Location: Saudi Arabia
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Extendable)
Project Type: HV Substation (GIS/AIS) - Erection & Commissioning

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Erection & Commissioning Engineer with expertise in both GIS and AIS systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and supervising the mechanical and electrical erection, assembly, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage switchgear in a substation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and supervise the installation and commissioning of HV GIS and AIS equipment up to 400kV.
Carry out SF₆ gas handling, mechanical alignment, HV testing, and functional checks.
Interface with OEM engineers and follow strict OEM protocols and documentation.
Ensure site compliance with HSE policies and international standards.
Maintain daily progress reports, test records, and punch lists.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of HV substation E&C experience, with proven GIS/AIS exposure.
OEM certification for GIS equipment is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with SF₆ handling and HV testing equipment.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
