Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major highway infrastructure project located in the North Atlanta metropolitan area. The project involves the reconstruction and expansion of a critical regional highway, aimed at improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing safety. This includes widening lanes, upgrading bridges, adding new interchanges, and implementing advanced traffic management systems to accommodate increasing traffic demands.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, from planning through completion, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery of this essential transportation corridor.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of the highway construction project, including design, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Supervise the widening of lanes, bridge replacements, the construction of new interchanges, and the overall enhancement of the highway infrastructure.
Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to mitigate risks and ensure project milestones are achieved.
Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including local authorities, government agencies, and the public.
Manage procurement and subcontractor relations to ensure all materials and work meet project specifications and quality standards.
Oversee final project inspections, closeout processes, and handover to the client.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree or PMP certification preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in project management, with at least 5 years overseeing large-scale road, highway, or bridge construction projects.
Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Certifications: PMP certification is preferred OSHA or equivalent safety certifications a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
