Deputy Project Manager - Hydropower and Dams - Philippines

My client has recently secured financing for a large-scale hydropower project in the Philippines. As part of the Developer's team, they are seeking a Deputy Project Manager (DPM) with strong hydropower construction experience, particularly in earthfill dam projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have experience working on the Owner's side, overseeing the Owner's Engineer (OE), who in turn manages the EPC contractors (civil, hydromechanical, grid connection, etc.). Experience as a Contracts Manager is a plus.

The Deputy Project Manager will assist in managing the construction phase, working closely with the client's supervision contractor(s) on-site. Experience with earthfill dam projects is essential.

Candidate Requirements:

Civil Engineering Degree
25+ years of postgraduate experience
Minimum 15 years of specific hydropower experience, including earthfill dam
Previous experience working in Asia
Fluent in English

Job Conditions:

Location: Site-based in the Philippines
Accommodation provided on-site, including medical and travel insurance
Contract Duration: 24 months
Salary Package: $10,000 - $14,000 USD monthly (net of local taxes)
Mobilization: June 2025
