The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an E&M Specialist to join one of the largest infrastructure groups in the world on an exciting tunnel project in the Swedish Capital, Stockholm.
As an E&M Specialist, you will be responsible for the design review and testing of electrical and mechanical systems within the cable tunnel project. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the MEP Manager with daily tasks related to mechanical, electrical, control, and drainage systems.
- Coordinate MEP design between the client's designer, suppliers, subcontractors, and civil/building works.
- Oversee MEP installations to ensure they meet design specifications and align with time line, budget, quality, and HSE goals.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and ensure proper documentation (e.g., As-Built documents) to guarantee quality and safety.
- Prepare progress reports, assist in MEP procurement, and participate in site meetings and toolbox talks.
- Support the billing, payment, and handover of MEP works to the commissioning team.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering with a first professional experience
- Professional experience with MEP systems and construction processes, ideally in the construction industry or on larger infrastructure projects
- Fluent in English, other languages such as Swedish or German are an advantage
- Basic knowledge of coordinating different trades and ensuring quality, safety, and time line compliance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Experience with project documentation and reporting is a plus
