Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for solar mounting structures in the Iberia region.
- Looking for new distributors and (large) EPC companies.
- Be aware of market trends/changes and look for opportunities.
- Developing and motivating the Iberia team, currently consisting of 3 account managers.
- Planning and assigning tasks to the team.
- Keeping the service level as high as possible and improve where necessary by listening to our valued customer base.
- Building relations with stake holders like suppliers of inverters, developers, engineering and insurance companies.
- Delivering profitable growth, through the conversion of offers into orders from both new and existing accounts.
- Manage accounts and provide technical assistance.
- Designing complex and large PV projects.
- Increase sales throughout our distributors by showing installers the advantages of mounting systems.
- Working closely with colleagues from the Dutch head office.
- Propose and implement improvements for internal and external processes and software tools.
- Coordinating and attending trade shows and training events.
- Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by self-learning and attending training and company meetings.
- Reports to Sales Manager.
What do we look for?
We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager or Sales Manager who is ready for the next step in his/her career. You have at least 2 years of commercial B2B experience in the construction or electricity sector, preferably in the solar PV sector. Furthermore, you have good technical knowledge and already some leadership experience and you live in the Madrid region.
Personal requirements:
- Bachelor degree;
- Effective communications skills;
- Strong sense of customer satisfaction;
- Team player;
- Planning and organizing skills;
- IT knowledge (MS Office);
- Driving license;
- Willing to travel throughout Iberia on a regular basis;
- Languages: Spanish (fluently) and English (very good) spoken and written, Portuguese or Italian is a plus.
