Title: Construction Project Manager

Salary: £65k - 80k (Depending on experience)
Overview:
A thrilling chance to join a Renewable energy Solar Construction Team in the UK. We seek passionate and skilled project managers to propel projects from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD) securely, punctually, meeting quality and budget criteria, including a successful Hand Over to Operations. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with other departments to maximise efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and relevant parties for project delivery
* Manage tendering for long lead items and negotiate payment/delivery terms
* Work with the project team to ensure timely fulfilment of planning conditions related to grid works
* Oversee tendering and negotiation of EPC and ICP scopes and contracts
* Supervise and manage chosen EPC and ICP throughout the delivery phase
* Responsible for budget and schedule adherence for each project
* Provide regular progress and risk reports to the management team
Requirements:
* Recognised Project Management qualifications like PRINCE2/APMP Professional
* Health and safety certifications - SMSTS/NEBOSH/IOSH accreditation
* Demonstrated experience in negotiating commercial contracts like NEC3/4, FIDIC, etc.
* Proven track record in delivering large-scale solar projects
* Previous EPC-related job role would be advantageous
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk Viewer, Visio, or similar PM software
* Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering preferred
* Valid UK driving license
