Overview:

Our client, a global renewable energy company, operates across the entire energy value chain, from development and construction to operation. With a portfolio spanning the UK, they focus on wind and solar energy assets. This role is based in Ireland and offers a dynamic opportunity to manage their growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume full responsibility for managing a portfolio of wind, solar, and energy projects, including:
  • Overseeing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) governance
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Technical, Origination, etc.) to optimise project performance
  • Managing project finance and reporting financial performance
  • Leading the production of reports on financial status, risks, and technical challenges
  • Improving asset management processes and practices
  • Managing risks related to the wind portfolio and ensuring proper mitigation and reporting
  • Developing and executing the O&M (Operations & Maintenance) and asset management strategies for both existing and new projects to optimise profitability
  • Ensuring compliance with O&M contracts, land leases, and other technical agreements
  • Managing project budgets and operational payments
  • Handling the procurement, negotiation, and management of project contracts and work packages
  • Supporting the Origination Team with project development efforts

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector
• Extensive experience in managing wind or solar energy assets
• Strong understanding of project finance documentation and financial reporting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to reassess priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
