Your expertise will drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced control systems for hydroelectric power plants worldwide.
Your Role
As part of our team, you'll:
- Develop and Implement Systems: Build and configure control systems for hydroelectric power plants using Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
- Create Tailored Solutions: Design system concepts that meet specific project and customer requirements.
- Oversee Engineering Processes: Lead hardware and software development across the entire project lifecycle.
- Plan Communication Networks: Set up and secure network systems (e.g., IEC, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) with a strong focus on cyber security.
- Deliver Quality Results: Ensure projects meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
- Document and Report: Produce and manage technical documents like signal lists, design reports, and final as-built documentation.
- Commission Systems Worldwide: Travel to project sites around the globe to install and optimize control systems.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone with:
- Educational Background: A degree in Electrical, Automation, or Information Technology Engineering. Alternatively, relevant professional experience with a Technician-level education.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Siemens PCS7 or Rockwell Studio 5000 control systems is a significant advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of German or additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French) is a plus.
- Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally for business trips and on-site work.
- Office Presence: Availability to work at the office in Heidenheim, Germany, for two days per week.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset, results-oriented approach, and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Cultural Awareness: Intercultural experience and adaptability in diverse environments are highly valued.
