The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a Site Engineer with experience in roads projects, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities
- Managing a defined part of the construction site, supervising Site Engineers
- Overseeing construction works , supervising subcontractors / own manpower and equipment.
- Drawing up activity plans in line with work schedule and contractual requirements.
- Resources analysis on site, drawing up daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Monitoring progress and report it
- Dimensioning resources (manpower, equipment, material) for performing the project activities in timely and quality manner.
- Control of stocked materials and forecasting of orders
- Follow up site daily requirements (survey request, inspection requests…)
- Liaising with Technical department for any design deviation, drawings mismatch, design infeasibility…)
- Liaising with technical, procurement, cost control, contract, HSE, permits departments to ensure the goals of the project are met.
- Ensure application of HSE rules related to own and subcontractor employees, with the goal of minimising risks.
Project
The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 4 years.
Requirements
- Technical Degree (Engineering / Civil / or equivalent)
- 3+ years experience in the construction - large-scale infrastructure projects
- Experience working in Scandinavia
