Role and Responsibilities
Our client owns and manages 570MW of energy assets across the solar, wind, reserve power, AD, and storage sectors. A dedicated team of 29 professionals provides asset management services for this energy portfolio.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Wind to establish long-term, high-standard Asset Management processes and support the broader Energy & Investment team. Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing KPI variances and proactively identifying performance issues.
- Ensuring preventative maintenance aligns with O&M contracts and completing any necessary corrective actions.
- Supporting regulatory, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
- Conducting site visits, delivering inspection reports, and producing punch lists (including Wind Turbine ascent).
- Managing and resolving low-level technical incidents.
- Identifying potential improvements and optimization strategies.
- Enhancing efficiency, reporting, and effective asset monitoring.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring contract milestone completion.
- Assisting the wider team and supporting team objectives, including office administration.
- Contributing to the development of management systems, including processes, structures, and procedures.
Key Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 to 2 years of experience as an Asset Manager, O&M Manager, or in large-scale renewable projects.
- Higher education with a technical focus (Master of Engineering or equivalent).
- Understanding of technical asset management methodologies and experience with renewable assets.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- A critical eye for compliance and safety.
- Knowledge of IT networks, databases, SCADA, and OPC/ODBC servers.
- Strong MS Excel and IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Swedish or Finnish language preferred.
