Marketing Expert - Transport Sector - Qatar
A well-known end client is looking for a Marketing Expert to be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing marketing campaigns with the goal of promoting awareness of Metro & Tram services, as well as supporting and increasing fare box revenue generation.
* Ensuring the improvement of overall customer experience, through the use of effective communication channels reaching the Metro & Tram actual and prospect customers.
* Collaboration and coordinating marketing activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Work with the Marketing Manager and team in order to identify opportunities for communication and promotional activities, ensure brand consistency and cost-effective use of resources.
* Work with the Sales team in order to identify requirements for awareness and promotional campaigns for B2B, B2B2C and B2C markets.
* Analyse customer segmentation, identify opportunities, and define appropriate plans for each segment.
* Cultivate relationships with partners, influencers and other stakeholders to maximise brand awareness.
* Liaise with the PR&C and BD departments for the implementation of BTL promotional activities, including sales events, retail collaborations and production of sales collaterals.
* Monitor the compliance of any BTL/B2C marketing activity within the approved budget.
* Drive and support the development and implementation of the marketing communication, social media and digital marketing initiatives through all applicable channels.
* Evaluate marketing campaign performance using key performance indicators and and adjust strategies accordingly.
Accountabilities
* Develop and implement awareness, marketing communication and promotional campaigns
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
* Identify sales collaterals needs, develop, monitor consumption and availability
* Oversee content creation for various channels including social, digital and traditional media
* Provide regular reports and updates on marketing campaign performance
Education:
-BSc/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field
Experience:
-Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing communication, preferably in the transportation/airline industry or advertising/marketing agencies and in a multicultural environment.
-Proven experience in strategic and tactical marketing planning and campaign execution, and knowledge of social media marketing
-Knowledge of the local market trends, media industry, social media trends and strategies
-Experience in the following areas are highly desirable: design, copywriting, content, SEO, digital and email marketing.
Professional Training:
-Formal training in design and photography and/or Social Media & Digital Marketing would be an added advantage#
Skills:
-Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
-Able to develop and present ideas and marketing proposals/plans effectively
-Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
-Analytical skills to evaluate the reach and performance of marketing campaigns
-Excellent planning and organisational skills
-Graphic design skills with capability to work with Apple Mac computer/software are highly desirable
