The senior Land surveyor manage a team for on type of asset (tunnel, OPD, Tunnel) aiming to give topographic and monitoring support during the construction phase according to the various constraints expressed by the technical specifications (tolerances, phasing, construction methods)
Survey duties :
- Perform field surveys and collect accurate data for the project
- Interpret survey data and prepare maps, plans, and reports
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate survey data
- Monitor and report survey progress to the Survey Team Lead
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian regulations and project requirements
- Carrying out surveying work: road, bridge
- Prepare staking and machine data based on models and drawing basis.
- Check foundation data and projected foundation
- Quality assurance of field work: geometric control of the project's tolerance requirements
- Advise on the topometric methods and instruments to be used within the framework of the needs expressed by the technical management of the site
- Participate in controls and audits on the site within its scope of competence. Alert of systemic malfunctions and risks that it observes
- Complete the digital checklists on the relevant software (stake out, as-built survey…)
Support the Survey manager in conducting the following tasks :
- multi-discipline management of teams and rotations,
- coordinate with construction teams,
- prescribe the training of junior land surveyor,
- provide Quality and OHS support to the teams,
- participation in establishing orders and validating invoices (within a certain scope)
- periodic appraisal / interviews
