The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a Health and Safety Supervisor for Tunnel, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities
- Support the HS Coordinator in the implementation of the Health and Safety Culture through the organization, Ensure that employees are familiar with safety policy, responsibilities, processes as defined in the management system and are aware of the importance and effect of their tasks within the safety work
- Support production and involved subcontractors to plan for safe and effective production and to verify that this is being done.
- Conduct daily inspections within your designated areas
- Support coordinators to conduct weekly safety inspections within your designated areas
- Conduct Safety inductions to the new employees within their designated areas
- Reporting and manage of RUH as per contract requirement.
- Emergency preparedness within your designated area (as per Emergency preparedness plan)
- Conduct accident investigations for minor accidents and support for the serious.
- Attend SJA when required
- Control of workers on site (HMS card, log in…)
- Control of chemicals on site
- Control machinery tools and auxiliary means on site
Project
The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 4 years.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience
- Experience in large scale infrastructure projects
- Experience in Scandinavia
- Preferably Norwegian speaker
- Fluent in English
- Availability to work on rotation and on night shifts
