Rail Electrical/Mechanical QA Engineer - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer, from an Electrical or Mechanical background for an ongoing Rail/ Metro project in the Philippines, working on behalf of the end client.

This role is on behalf of a leading consulting engineering firm, working in close coordination with the QA Manager to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance across all aspects of the project.

You will play a key role in supervising the Electromechanical (E&M) systems and rolling stock, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the QA Manager in implementing the Quality Assurance Program for E&M systems and rolling stock.
• Supervise installation and integration of electrical and mechanical systems across the project.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved quality procedures and specifications.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and prepare QA reports in accordance with project timelines.
• Liaise with construction teams, contractors, and suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support documentation, testing, and commissioning processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance, preferably within rail, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Prior experience with E&M systems and rolling stock is essential.
• Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards and procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Salary Package:

The salary package is flexible depending on experience but expected to be between $7,000 & $9,000 per month (TAX FREE) with an additional allowance for accommodation.
