Team Leader - ADB-Financed Bridge and Highway Project (Philippines)

Contract Duration: 40 Man months
Start Date: Q3/Q4 2025 (subject to mobilization schedule)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Team Leader / Chief Resident Engineer to partake with an internationally recognized consulting firm for the construction supervision of a major ADB-financed bridge and highway infrastructure project in the Philippines. This is a key expert position, providing leadership, technical oversight, and interface with the client (Government of the Philippines) and the Asian Development Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the supervision team throughout the project life-cycle.
- Act as the primary liaison between the end client, the contractor, and ADB.
- Monitor compliance with technical specifications, contract conditions, and environmental and social safeguards.
- Ensure quality assurance, progress monitoring, cost control, and risk management.
- Prepare progress reports and technical documentation in line with ADB standards.
- Oversee implementation of international best practices in construction safety, sustainability, and engineering quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).
- Registered/licensed professional engineer.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in infrastructure projects.
- At least 15 years on major bridge/highway construction supervision assignments.
- At least 8+ years as Team Leader or Chief Resident Engineer or Deputy Team Leader on at least one ADB or other MDB-financed project.
- 10+ years working in Asia, (outside of home country)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Language:
Fluent in English is essential.
Salary Package:
The salary is flexible depending on experience but would be expected to be in the region of $10-12,000 per month Tax Free
