Dam Resident Engineer - Earthfill Dams - Philippines
My client is seeking an experienced Dam Resident Engineer to join a major hydropower project in the Philippines. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale earthfill dam construction with a leading international team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the construction of earthfill dams exceeding 30m in height
- Supervise project activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution
- Provide technical expertise in dam construction, geotechnical engineering, and hydropower infrastructure
Candidate Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Construction Engineering
- 15-20+ years of experience in dam construction
- Proven experience as a Resident Engineer on at least 2-3 earthfill dam projects (30m+ high)
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Prior experience working on international hydropower projects is an advantage
Job Conditions:
- Location: Site-based in the Philippines
- Duration: Minimum 12-month renewable contract (project expected to last over 40 months)
