This position is responsible for growing my client's business pursuits by building new client relationships, maintaining current client relationships, and identifying opportunities and advocates in strategic expansion areas. | ||||
II. POSITION SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES | ||||
1 | Help develop and execute the business development strategy for each Reeves Young Business Unit with input from Executive Leadership team; | |||
2 | Support the growth of the company through increasing revenue in strategically identified expansion areas; | |||
3 | Establish profitable relationships with decision makers at identified companies and organizations; | |||
4 | Provide progress updates to Executive Leadership team on all business development activities, market conditions, and other key indicators; | |||
5 | Support current and future company regional projects by being a trusted advisor, including reviewing project progress, visiting job sites, participating in appropriate project meetings and communicating with the client; | |||
6 | Perform market research to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential leads, new customers, and geographic areas; | |||
7 | Identify, sponsor, and actively participate in the appropriate geographic and industry specific organizations that meet the company's specific goals and objectives; | |||
8 | Assist in the development of pre-qualification packages, proposals, marketing materials, and interview preparation; | |||
9 | Develop and maintain information in Reeves Young's Client Relationship Management (CRM) software; | |||
10 | Participate in weekly/monthly Marketing & Business Development meetings; | |||
11 | Provide feedback to Marketing related to client specific marketing materials; | |||
12 | Other responsibilities as assigned. | |||
III. REQUIREMENTS | ||||
1 | Must have proven tenured record of Business Development in Nashville. | |||
2 | First class communication skills and ability to operate professionally and effectively at all levels; | |||
3 | Excellent rapport building, networking and relationship management experience; | |||
4 | Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads; | |||
5 | Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Construction industry and business knowledge of the A/E/C industry; | |||
6 | Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development with proven success and increasing responsibility; | |||
7 | Must be fluent in performing market related research and generating reports based on trends and pipeline. | |||
8 | Must be able to communicate content and support the production of proposals and presentations; |
