Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Head of Projects to oversee energy and transmission-related projects in Eastern Africa. The successful candidate will represent the company and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring high-quality and sustainable project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of energy and transmission projects in Eastern Africa.
- Represent the company in dealings with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Implement best practices in project management and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong background in energy and transmission & distribution (T&D) projects.
- Experience preferably gained in Africa.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Preference for Electrical Engineer related degree
Salary and Benefits:
- Annual salary: $80,000 to $110,000 USD (net).
- Expatriate benefits including accommodation and flights.
