Title: Lead O&M Technician

Location: Ireland, County Laois

Company: Globally Leading Renewable Energy Provider

Overview: The O&M Expert Technician will play a pivotal role in delivering value to the organization by leading and mentoring a less experienced technical team. This role will involve close collaboration with the Area Coordinator to oversee assigned projects, address technical challenges, and perform maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
* Assist the O&M Area Coordinator in organizing resources and establishing an effective framework for the management and operation of PV plant O&M contracts.
* Oversee the execution of maintenance plans and provide guidance to team members.
* Facilitate and ensure adherence to company procedures and protocols within the technical team.
* Uphold, promote, and enforce compliance with HSE standards, legal requirements, and best practices within the technical team.
* Conduct regular on-site technical assessments alongside the technical team.
* Coordinate, monitor, and report on the activities of the O&M field team and subcontractors.
* Act as a liaison between onsite teams and Remote Operations & Monitoring Entities (RO&ME).
* Actively participate in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing failures, in collaboration with O&M technicians.

Experience:
* Over 5 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind, hydroelectric, or related fields).
* Expertise in maintenance management systems and processes.
* Proficiency in High Voltage Switching, HV AP/SAP, and power electronics.
* Strong understanding of technical design principles.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
* Proficiency in the local language, with English fluency being advantageous.
* Willingness to travel domestically for short durations and on short notice.
