The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a Quality engineer, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities
- Attend inspections, surveillances, and witness tests on request.
- Ensure that the Inspection Test Plans, their check lists, Material Approval Requests and all QA records are produced and robust. Coordinate with the Laboratory/Materials Quality Manager to meet specifications when preparing Inspection Test Plans and Material Approval Requests
- Liaise with the DALUX FIELD Coordinator to replicate the check lists in DALUX FIELD forms and test the system prior going live. Induct Subcontractors, Site Engineers and Design Site Representative as required, to ensure sign-off of check sheets in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Design Site Representative discipline leaders to resolve discrepancies in the preparation of documents or quality records.
- Provide technical advice when NCRs are raised against defective delivered goods instigating the corrective actions / concession in collaboration with the suppliers and the Design Site Representative
- Assist the construction team with the control of subcontractors work with regards to the standard of work offered.
- Support the Quality Coordinator in closing out NCR's and observations and the site engineers in capturing evidences of implementation.
- Promote the closure of snagging lists in agreed time frames through visits to the sites and provision of evidences. .
Project
The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.
Requirements
- Experience in similar role for at least 5 years
- Experience in Norway or Scandinavia
- Experience with quality control of bridges
- Sospension bridge experience is a plus
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering areas
- Fluent in English
