Job Title: Head of Asset Operations - Renewable Energy

About Our Client:

The Role:
As the Head of Asset Operations, you will lead, manage, and optimize the operational activities across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving operational excellence. You will oversee asset operations, maintenance, customer relationship management, and service delivery to achieve high performance in renewable energy assets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

This role is critical to ensuring profitability, safety, innovation, and sustainable growth in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Align operational activities with business goals and contribute to company growth and efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Asset Optimization: Ensure the smooth running of renewable energy assets, focusing on operational efficiency and asset reliability.
  • Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and asset longevity.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Drive effective customer relationship processes to enhance service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Innovation: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies for operational excellence.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the executive team, highlighting key metrics such as asset uptime, maintenance costs, and safety compliance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Operational efficiency: Asset uptime, capacity utilization, and cost reduction.
  • Maintenance effectiveness: Implementation of preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
  • Asset health and performance: Achieving reliability and performance metrics.
  • Health, safety, and compliance: Adhering to regulatory and environmental standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of leading operational teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in operational processes, asset management, and customer relationship management.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Technical knowledge of renewable energy systems and technologies.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
